Ask Chuck Dixon and Scott Beatty a Question!

On June 1st, I will be conducting an interview with Chuck Dixon and Scott Beatty!  The main topic of discussion will be my favorite story, 'Batgirl: Year One!'  If you would like to ask this Dynamic Duo a question, you may post it here, e-mail me, or post it on the forum!

Just as with the Bryan Q. Miller interview, please limit yourself to ONE question.  Also, be sure to make the question quick and to-the-point!  These gentlemen have busy lives!  :)

I look forward to your questions!

  1. Wow!  I'm very excited to hear this interview…now I have to start thinking about a question to ask…something important…

  2.
So, I started with about 8-10 questions, and have (I think) boiled it down to one long-ish one):
“What drew you to Barbara Gordon’s character so that you gave her both such a lengthy Year One retelling and launched the Birds of Prey series centered around her?”
That was hard – I had to cut out a lot of other really interesting questions (favorite Batfamily member, thoughts on writers on Birds of Prey after him and the relaunch, reactions to the Batgirl: Year One art, thoughts on Frank Miller’s Year One, and Stephanie’s promotion to Batgirl, etc, etc), but I think that’s the one I really want to know.
